Riding jacket of superb functionality including good visibility and mobility, made of waterproof/breathable fabric of HUMAX with a removable lining. The "Hit Air" jacket uses CE certified armor to protect the shoulders, elbows and the spine but most importantly, the "Hit Air" jacket also incorporates an air cushion system. In the event of an accident and a rider is thrown from the motorcycle, the air cushion instantly inflates (within 1/2 second) to protect the rider's body.
Activation is simple and automatic. A coiled wire is attached to both the motorcycle and the jacket. Once the rider and the motorcycle are separated, the coiled wire pulls a "key" out of a gas release system and inert gas inflates the air cushion.
The inflated jacket provides the necessary impact protection. After a few seconds the gas is automatically released through the gas release valve.

More Information on the Air Bag System: - As soon as the rider is thrown from the motorcycle, the airbag inflates and protects rider's neck,back, chest, sides and hip.
- Hit-air is rider's wear containing shoulder, elbow and back padding (back padding is only for vests) and airbag system.
- Shock-buffering protection system will be activated immediately after the distance from the rider to the motorcycle exceeds the "activation distance", when the key ball is pulled out from the key box to release CO2 gas into the neck, chest, body, back and hip airbags to inflate them in 0.5 second for lessening the effect of impact on rider's body.
- Even before the airbag is fully inflated (in 0.5 second), it is quite effective for shock buffering.
- After the airbag is inflated in full, it leaks the gas slowly through the gas release valve and a feeling of tightness will subside gradually.
Off the motorcycle, it's great as an ordinary jacket. On the motorcycle, a simple "click" provides the rider with the protection of the latest safety technology. A coiled wire, which is secured to the motorcycle, is fastened to the jacket's "one-touch release" button to form a system, which will activate the "Hit Air" system when needed. Caution!
If the "one-touch release" is not unfastened before the rider dismounts, a scooter or light motorcycle may be pulled over. If the rider is attached to a heavy bike a strong tug will act as a reminder. Failure to heed this reminder may cause the "Hit Air" to inflate unnecessarily. A force of more than 25kgs (55 lbs.) is needed to activate the air cushion.
