Bought for commute to work by bicycle. Have been knocked off four times in the last two and a half years. Was very badly bruised in the last one and decided to get a bit more protection for when I hit the ground. This jacket looks like it might well do the job, although I hope not to be able to confirm it! I ordered three sizes too large (I have the shoulders of a Greek god) and it is generally a very good fit and is warm and light rain proof. The shoulder pads sit very nicely, but the elbow pad positions do not fully cover the elbows, probably because I had to order a much larger size. Other than that, not bad at all.
